Tat2-u goes through a 3-stage process of cleaning for the sterilisation of its instruments.
After a Tattoo has taken place, the instruments used that are not single use like tubes, and Colour trays, are all placed into a bathing tray which is designed for the pre-soaking of instruments. The bathing tray is filled with Trigine (high level disinfectant) which is also biodegradable. The instruments are placed in for the appropriate contact time. They are then thoroughly rinsed in running water.
Afterwards they are then placed in an ultrasonics unit for Ultrasonic Cleaning
Once all tools and instruments have been thoroughly rinsed they need to be cleaned ultrasonically. This is a process that is far more efficient than mechanical scrubbing. The ultrasonic is filled with distilled water and Rapidex®, a medical grade detergent specially designed for use with ultrasonics. This cleaner has an industrial transducer thermostat that also aids in the cleaning process. The instruments are run through a 20-min cycle then once again rinsed, but this time with distilled water. Finally they are ready for autoclaving
Once the instruments have been thoroughly rinsed in distilled water, they are then placed into sterilization pouches. The pouches peel tab is placed inside the pouch itself with the instruments and works as a double indicator, which means the pouches have an indicator built inside in the correct place, to indicate a successful load process. Next, they are placed in a "Starclave Vacuum Cycle Autoclave", this is a state of the art sterilization unit.Which has a printer incorparated within it Tat2-u then keeps the record document which it prints as a record of sterilization, We also have our auto-claves serviced every three months by an engineer, without fail.
