Hospital grade sterilization.

Many years of experience.
Tattooist are kept informed of latest cleaning products.
Shop is a member of the A.P.T.A (Association of Profesional Tattooists)
Will it hurt?
When you have a tattoo you will feel some discomfort, for most people that is all it is, for others the pain may be intense but we will work together to get you through the tattoo. If you need a break we can stop but no one has left the studio with an unfinished tattoo yet!
Do you use any anaesthetic?
At Tat2-u we do not use any anaesthetic for a number of reasons:
Creams and gels are not sterile and so may cross contaminate the area
Freezing sprays may cause frostbite encouraging blistering and sores
Injected anaesthetics tend to cause more discomfort than the tattoo and should only be performed by trained anaesthetists.
Are you licensed?
Yes. All tattoo studios must by law register with the local authority and be inspected before they can open to the public. The licence must be displayed in the shop.
Can I bring a friend with me?
Yes as long as they are over 18.
My son/daughter is under 18; if I give my consent can they have a tattoo?
No. The law states that you can only be tattooed at 18 or over. We will ask for photographic I.D and refuse to tattoo anyone who is, or appears to be, under age.
Can I have a tattoo put anywhere on my body?
No. I will not tattoo on the face. Hands and necks will be tattooed at my discretion.
Can you cover over or rework old tattoos?
Yes. Come in and we can discuss what you want and sort out what is viable. Most things are possible with a little imagination and trust.
